Volunteer

Our volunteers come in all sizes, shapes and colors, but their hearts are pink and their caring has no limit. Are you a leader, a thinker or a doer? Use your talents in our promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever!  We need you now more than ever. Volunteers provide countless hours contributing their skills to further the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® promise. We will work with your availability.  Every minute you spend helping gives another minute of hope to those affected by breast cancer.

Program areas include:

• Development/Special Events
• Administrative
• Survivor committee
• Educational Outreach – Assisting at Health Fairs and other educational events – we will train you.
• Event staffing – Staffing at Komen events, fundraisers and others.
• A Buddie for You Program – (Survivors Only)
• Speakers Bureau – Must be comfortable speaking in front of groups.
• Race Day – Working race day at Bayfront Park helping in various areas.
• Pre-Race – Assisting before the race at the office, at the park, various duties.
• Race Committee – Helping to plan the race, attending monthly meeting, etc.
