Sixteen years ago, the Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Race for the Cure started with a few hundred participants and a band of warriors who were determined to raise money to find a cure for breast cancer.  On October 15, 2011 we celebrate the 16th anniversary of the Race in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.  Be a part of something special, and register today so we can break last year's record attendance by having over 21,000 participants at the 2010 Race.

METRORAIL INFORMATION:

Miami-Dade Transit is offering a special 1-Day Pass, additional rail service, and free parking at Metrorail stations and Park & Ride lots for participants of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday, October 15, 2011.   The 2 Round Trip ticket (or 2-trip ticket), which is regularly sold for $5, will be loaded on an EASY Ticket and sold at the discounted rate of $ 4 for event participants. These passes are available as part of online Race registration at www.komenmiaftl.org or offline registration at TeamFootWorks and will be sold until October 14 or until supplies last, they ran out quickly in 2010, so get yours early.    For more information call 305-666-7223

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PACKET PICK-UP: 

Race packets with tee shirts are available for pick up at Footworks, 5724 Sunset Drive in South Miami after September 16, 2011.
Please note that you must wait at least 24 hours after registering online before picking up your Race packet at Footworks.
For team packet pick up, you must call Footworks at 305-666-7223 at least 48 hours in advance to arrange for pick up.

The following Publix locations on Thursday, October 6th, 12 noon–9 pm:

Publix Dadeland: 9105 S. Dadeland Blvd
Publix Skylake: 1700 NE Miami Gardens Dr.
Publix Plantation: 6921W. Broward Blvd.

If you are planning on picking up your packets at any of the Publix packet pick up locations above,
please call FootWorks at 305-666-7223 at least 48 hours in advance to alert them.
