Our Promise:
To save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. We are supported every advance in breast cancer research over the past 25 years. Komen for the Cure provides community grants for breast health (education, screening) and treatment.

Our Passion:
Because 10 million women around the world could die from breast cancer in the next 25 years without the cure, Susan G. Komen for the Cure is fighting every minute of every day to save every lives.

Accomplishments
75% of the dollars raised stay in our local community & 25% funds national research. In 2007-2008, we raised over $1.8 million dollars & funded 20 local grants and an extensive educational outreach program.

How can you help?
We need volunteers!! We need people who want to give back to their community and have fun at the same time. In short, the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale affiliate and Race for the Cure ® need your energy and support to fulfill our vision of a world without breast cancer.
